City has a range of Christ-centred ministries that give back to the community, sharing the love of Jesus in real and practical ways.
Established in 2017 at Banks Ave School, we continue to support Counselling in Schools with a vision to expand so we can help even more people in our community.
Each year we bless teachers and families from across Christchurch with gifts, culminating at our Christmas Eve service. Our prayer is that all those we reach would not only experience the joy of receiving a material blessing, but would know the unconditional love and amazing generosity of our Father.
At Youth City, we're committed to seeing a generation of young people encounter Jesus and estbalishing their God-given purpose and identity in Him. We provide pick-ups and drop-offs for our weekly gatherings, and strengthen community through camps and other holiday events.
This is an important ministry outreach for us where we get to connect with the ladies on Manchester Street. We have seen some great moments of connection and significant times of prayer over the last year as the team has gone out each week to impact the community we live in.
Kingdom Library is primarily an outreach to the children of Christchurch, supplying Christian educators across the city with visual aids, books and activity sheets for over twenty years.
An international outreach for foreign students, workers and guests, Rodem House meets every week for a free English class and shared meal with friends. Through this ministry, many have encountered God and received the gospel of salvation.
